COLORADO

The
Basics

Colorado is a western state defined by its diverse terrain ranging from the Rocky Mountains to its river canyons and arid desert.

What
Drew Me

I am by no means "outdoorsy," but Colorado's outdoor offerings have always kind of interested me. Home of the Rockies, Coors Light and Blue Moon Breweries, Red Rocks Ampitheater, Goldens in Golden, Aspen ski resorts, there has always been so much in Colorado that I've wanted to experience.

Do I Recommend Visiting?

Yes. While I haven't necessarily had an experience here that I believe suits everyone, I think that Colorado is a place worth visiting regardless. People who love the outdoors would absolutely thrive here, but if you love the outdoors, you probably already know that. If you're not the outdoorsy type, there is still something to be said for viewing the landscapes here as well as some of the other touristy stuff I mentioned above like the breweries or catching a concert at Red Rocks. While I don't know if I'd live here just yet, it is a nice place to visit for a few days or maybe a week.
