Alaska is the largest state in the United States, located on the northwest edge of North America. It is commonly referred to as "The Last Frontier" due to it's expansive areas of remote land that have never been fully charted, mapped or explored.
What
Drew Me
I saw photos of the gilded buildings in Brussels online and simply had to visit. I'd also heard so much of Belgian chocolate and waffles that I felt I needed to try it in Belgium to see what the hype was all about.
Do I Recommend Visiting?
Sure, yeah. I think that if you're already in Europe and are in a commutable area, it's a fun day trip. I've only been to Brussels, so I can only speak for my experience in Brussels, but I think it's a good one day visit. I ran out of things to do very quickly and ended up waiting in the train station a few hours early to get back to Paris. Brussels is enchanting and definitely worth a quick stop, but it is definitely overrated.

I only foresee myself traveling back to Belgium to visit Bruges, as I didn't have the fortune of visiting the first time around. Other than that, after a quick visit, I don't think Belgium is return worthy.

I think if you are in a commutable area, you should visit, but if not, I would not go out of my way to visit Belgium.
